Good news, everybody: Learn Python is back! Each Tuesday evening for the remainder of April and May, we'll be getting together at the Central Library to learn the Python computer programming language.
Here's how Learn Python works: we're using the videos, exercises, and readings from Zed Shaw’s Learn Python the Hard Way (don’t worry, the title is ironic) to structure our study. The book is available for free online, and we'll give you access to the videos. So, no need to purchase anything! Each week we'll assign some homework and then meet Tuesday evenings from 6 - 7:30 p.m. to discuss what we've learned, answer any questions, and tackle some problem sets together.
Our first session was last Tuesday, but never fear: you can still join in. Just check the class blog for the prep work and this week's assignment, then come on Tuesday and we'll get you all caught up. If you have any questions in the meantime, feel free to post a comment here or on the class blog.
